Temple of Home Village
Perched atop the lone hill, the temple rises auspiciously into the sky. Its elegantly irregular shape renders it nearly indistinguishable from the channels of water running down the sides. As you approach from the marketplace, a simple winding cobbled stair, set into the shallow hillside, meanders up to the temple door. To either side of the stairs, vibrant wildflowers grow among rocks shaped into arcane patterns, the meanings long since lost but maintained all the while.
At the top of the stairs gapes the main entryway. Two pillars stand wide, framing another staircase that winds upward into the temple itself. Black jade etchings crawl along the marbled pillars, forming flowing and elegant designs. Above, the vaulted frame meets at a large disc bearing the sign of The River God.
